The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech Ocean Commitment IV Limited Edition draws inspiration from the Blancpain Act 2 "Coelacanth Technology" limited edition, released in 2023 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms collection. In celebration of the brand's 290th anniversary, Blancpain is once again launching this Ocean Commitment Limited Edition, limited to 100 pieces. The new Fifty Fathoms Tech Ocean Commitment IV Limited Edition features a 45mm diameter and 14.1mm thickness case, making it suitable for both professional diving and everyday wear. For each watch sold, the brand will donate €1,000 to the Blancpain X Sulubaaï Ocean Research Center, totaling €100,000.

 The case is made of grade 23 titanium, a material renowned for its strength and lightness. The watch features a built-in helium escape valve for use during saturation diving in hyperbaric chambers. The unidirectional rotating bezel, inlaid with a black, curved ceramic inner ring, is slightly tilted inwards towards the dial, making it easy to rotate even while wearing diving gloves.

The watch's deep black dial absorbs up to 97% of light, and the luminescent hour markers create a striking contrast, ensuring excellent legibility underwater.
